Long Time

Okay so it has been a long time since I posted and I have heard it by a lot of people that it has been over two weeks since I have posted. And who have I heard this the most from? Travis! He has been extremely sad because he hasn't been able to show everyone his kiddos. So here we go, lets see if I can sum up everything that has happened recently.

Brandon's New Glasses
Brandon went to the eye doctors recently and we found out that glasses would help him out right now so that hopefully in the years to come he won't need them. Brandon has really enjoyed them and has showed that he can care for them now, which makes me very happy!

Nathan's Field Trip to the Aminal Farm
This month for Nathan's Field trip they went to a local animal farm. This is the second time we hav been here but Nathan still enjoyed it very much. He didn't like me taking his picture but I was able to get him some of the time. Kimball had fun sitting next to his friend Daphne and Nathan enjoyed following Lucy around. Nathan and his class, he never likes to get in the group picture. They have a death grib on him.

Kimball and Daphne, he is always taking her binkie.

Nathan was playing peek a boo with me behind the tree. He was trying to hide from the camera.

Nathan hiding in jail, he was so cute!

This is all of us on the wagon ride. Nathan had a hard time staying in his seat!

Grandma and Grandpa Schnakenburg Visit

My Aunt Diana will soon be giving birth to her second child and my grandparents went down to Arizona to be with her, but along the way they stopped in Provo to have dinner with the family in the area. It was nice to get together and see everyone. Travis and Kimball were sick so since that wouldn't be the greatest thing for Grandma I made them stay home. Brandon and Nathan were very good at the resturant which made me very happy. Nathan really liked Gracie, but was a little too overly friendly with her to begin with. I am really glad that he took a liking to a cousin even though they had never really met.

I got new coloring pad for the boys to do at the table while all of the adults talked.
Brandon liked to sit next to Kayla. She was sweet and helped Brandon with the coloring pad puzzles.Kayla and Grandma SchnakenburgAmy and Grandma Schnakenburg

Easter

We had several Easter egg hunt, we had a ward Easter egg hunt that we did while it was drizziling outside and then one at Grandma and Grandpa Walkers on Easter day. At the Ward party the boys were so excited to get started and start looking for the eggs! It took Kimball a little bit to get the hang of it but then really enjoyed it. Brandon and Nathan did awesome and grabbed as much as they could. On Easter day Brandon and Nathan woke up first and got to see what the Easter Bunny left them, they were so excited! Kimball woke up later and even though he doesn't understand how it works, enjoyed the candy none the less. We tried this Easter to teach the boys what Easter is all about and how it isn't just about the candy and the easter bunny. After having a Family Home Evening on it and then throughout the week we would talk about it. We taught them just the basics, but I think they actually understood what was going one and why Easter is important! After the Easter Egg hunt Aunt Rosie helped Brandon and Nathan die easter eggs! I had already given up on the project this year because I was too busy, but thankfully Aunt Rosie wanted to color eggs with them. They had a great time!

Brandon finding eggs

Nathan was very man that he had to wait to find eggs. He was quite mad at me because I was trying to get his picture too. Kimball got a sucker so he was completely happy! The kiddos treat from the Easter Bunny! The boys are good to realize now that Mom likes to take pictures, so they did stand in a line so I could take a picture before they could go hunt for Easter Eggs. Aunt Melissa helped Kimball search for his special Animal eggs, it was nice and cute to watch. I was able to just sit back and take pictures. Gardening

In our new home we have more yard than we have ever had, and with that yard we are creating our first garden. In the past we did gardens in buckets but this year we can actually plant in the ground. I was able to plant a second area where I could plant flowers and we also planted watermellon and pumpkin. The boys are so excited for the garden and get too overly excited. Brandon almost drowned the garden because he wanted to help water.
