Brandon's Quilt

I must be on a roll or I am just in the mood to do quilts....

I finished Brandon's quilt top. I followed this design. But when I had put it all together it seemed a little small for me so I decided to add a border since I had extra material. Brandon is really excited for it and so am I. I really love how colorful it is and how it has the autism puzzles. I am going to stipple the edges and then on the inside I will do a square border quilting in the middle around the squares.

I am not sure how large it is, but I am guessing a lap quilt size.

Don't you love my design wall?? In front of the laundry area.

This one is a little blurry because Travis thought it would be funny to bump me as I took the picture. Kids.....

Wonky Log Cabin Quilt Top Done!!

I am not sure when I started this quilt, either late August or early September. But I have been working on this here and there. I have been trying to finish it soon since a new quilt a long will be starting soon.

I am really happy on how this has turned out. Although I am tired of log cabins!!

I was really concerned about the colors and thought that they might be "too" different and wished I had more browns to put with it, but I really like how it has turned out.

Now I just need to quilt it and it will be done. This will be the largest quilt I will have quilted. That should be an adventure. I haven't measured it completely but it is large enough to fit a queen size bed.

Virtual Quilting Bee???

I like to start new things and I love to quilt and even though I am new to it, I love the modern quilts that I find online. So I have several blogs that I follow. One is starting a new virtual quilting bee. I am really excited for this and have a chance to learn how to make new blocks.

If anyone is interensted please go to the blog and sign up!!! And we can try to be on the same group. I am all new to this but am very very excited!!

Trampoline Fun

I had just finished emptying the pictures of the camera to the computer when Travis told me that I better get outside and get a picture of Kimball's hair.

Brandon likes to pose for the camera.
You can kinda see Kimball's hair in this one, but aren't they cute??

Nathan was so upset because Kimball wouldn't climb on his back and ride him like a horse. I guess Kimball did that with Brandon and he thought Kimball should do it with him too.

Kimball thinks about it, but then a second later decides not to.

This is a good one of Kimball's hair. He has such thin and fine hair!! It just stuck up all over the place!
