Horse Riding

After Dallie's Birthday party we were able to convince Uncle Joe to take us for a ride. I was bummed that we didn't have enough time for me to get some riding in. I really miss it, although my new cousin in law (Landon....he married my cousin Kayla) said that I can come to his father's place and ride. Now it's if I will trust a new horse!

Kimball wouldn't ride unless Dad walked next to him, but he really liked it

Brandon riding, Joe finally got smart and got on another horse to lead Nemo around! 

After Nathan and Kimball got finished riding, they hopped in with Grandpa Longan and did some chores

Here is Luke, I rode him in many rodeos but mostly used him for Barrel Racing

Nemo...he was such a good sport with the kids! He is very well behaved for only being 4yrs old! 

Then here is Scooter. I used to do Pole Bending on him and won quite a few times! If you can see, his ears are turning back...it means that he is mad...he has always been a grouchy horse. Too bad he is too cute for his own good!

Did I finish my May to do list?? HECK no! I think I was boosted by Aprils but in the middle of May I knew there was NO chance that I could make it. So here is what I did....

So not much but I have TONS that I want to get done and with school out I just don't have the time that I want!! Not to include that I have ignored my house long enough that I can't STAND it! As well as it is now SUMMER, we skipped spring and went straight to summer. We don't have air conditioning but a swamp cooler, which isn't on yet. Hopefully that will get on soon. So I try to stay still as long as I can....What is everyones' to do list for this month? 

Dalli's Birthday Party

On Sunday we were able to go to my niece's birthday party. Dalli turned 2 years old and boy is she a spit fire!! We all had a blast and ate some AWESOME food!

At the party there was a slip in slide! I love those things!

Here are some people at the party. It was mostly just family and we all had a good time. The weather was perfect to just stay out and relax. (A side note, this is where I grew up as a kid!)

Kimball fell asleep on the way and so we got a bed out and he slept for the majority of the time

Then we he got up he didn't want to eat, but to try the slip in slide

so we went to Dad...Dad fixes everything

Here is Dallie's cake...oh man was it good!! It was a white cake with a strawberry filling....on my goodness!!! IT WAS SOO GOOD!

Here is Charrity and my twin brother Jeff. Charrity loves the "cow" theme and is lucky enough to have Dallie like cows too.

We were teasing Jeff because he is going bald. Not as bad as my husband! Don't we love the farmers line all over?

Here is Dalli, Mason and Cali. They were throwing a ball for Boots to catch. At one point he wouldn't give it Dalli and so she TACKLED him! It was so cute! She has such an attitude!

Here is Dalli opening her presents, it was hard to get the other kids to stay back. She did love all of her toys!

Her Mommy got her her own individual cake! I was jealous and wish I could have my own LARGE piece!

Dalli was so sweet and was sharing her cake with everyone! While we were all waiting for our pieces. he was so sweet!

Here is my newest nephew Cade.....he is a sweety. He didn't know what to think about it.

But then of course he LOVED it!

Here is Nathan and my little brother Joe. Nathan reminds me of him all the time! They look alike and well they both act kinda alike too!! They both can get moody fast! LOL Nathan is mad because Uncle Joe wouldn't take him for a ride on his horse yet...

Some Fun at Grandma Longan's House

***Warning this is a LONG post with LOTS of pictures***

For the past week we have been in Colorado to spend time with family and to be there for my Grandmother's funeral. (Thank you for all the sweet comments too!) We did a lot of fun different things while we were there.

We had a picnic at the park, here is Cade looking at me. The whole time we were there he did NOT like me and would try not to look at me!

Zoey, Cali and Brandon. They were all so excited they didn't want to stop and eat.

Kimball ate pretty well and he had to have his Mickey hat on.

My sister Jenni. It was so warm that day that we ate and then played one game of "PIG" then went home.

The next day we went to a different park after lunch. Jenni had a lot of fun swinging on the swings too, but two LARGE women on swings aren't pleasent to look at, but just so you know, we had a BLAST!! And who would have thought that swinging would be a workout!

Kimball zeroed in on this slide and went up and down for pretty much the whole time.

We did manage to get them all together and take a few pictures, okay so we had to bribe them with a treat!

After each day we could come home have quiet time. Kimball and Nathan would always fall asleep but Cali, Zoey and Brandon would stay awake

I still have tons more to share from our week. My sister has a lot of those pictures as she is a better picture taker than me, but she had her camera and I didn't!
