Nathan's Christmas Party

Today was Nathan's christmas party at school. I was in charge of it and I think all the kids had a wonderful time! Nathan goes to a small unit Autism kindergarden, so I always need to make sure we can do things that they can do. We made marshmellow snowmen, button wreaths and pipe cleaner candy canes. Then we played Christmas bingo. I was in charge of the marshmellow snowmen station so didn't get many pictures.

Nathan was really tired this afternoon when I got there, but as the party went along it got better.

Nathan did awesome playing bingo and I was so proud of him! I do have to say though that I have a lot of respect for every teacher that teaches children with autism. It is a LOT of work and they are just wonderful!

My Little Boy

Last night Travis put his shirt on Kimball. Kimball LOVED it! He would run around the house flapping his arms. He also did "tens" with Daddy, where Daddy lays down and he bench presses Kimball. Travis has benched all the kids.

We had to take off the shirt when it was bed time and he was a little upset.

Christmas Candy and Gifts done

Well my Christmas candy is done, and with that done it means that presents for the boys' teachers are done as well. It is a huge relief when it is over with. I love to give people candy because when I give it to them their face lights up and get so happy. So to me that is well worth the stress, although this year Travis helped me a lot and it was very helpful.

The chocolate Mounds. They are SOO GOOD!! I hope that we don't run completely out of these, because they are becoming my new favorite. These will definately become a staple in the Christmas candy list.

Chocolate covered Pretzels. Can you see the empty spots that my boys' "speaked" a taste. These are Nathan's favorite.

Peanut Brittle....these are my Dad's favorite. I didn't cook it long enough, it is a little soft. But I think it is very good still!

Then a new find and a favorite, Orange Cream Fudge. Travis and I had a lot of fun making this together. It was so good! We tried it before it completely set last night, but this morning it was even better!

If  you combine it all, you get a very pretty present!

I tried to make some more English Toffee, but I was cursed again and it didn't turn out. I didn't have enough energy to make more, but oh well. I had some this year and that is what REALLY counts!

Cleaning Present

Do you know how dirty your computer screen is? Well with my boys I KNOW that it can get very dirty! You probably don't clean your computer screen very often and it is really hard to do the inside, so here is my present to you. More Christmas Gifts

I just finished another Christmas project. Brandon's class is doing a gift exchange so I needed 27 small presents. I was going to just buy a little pack of crayons and a little notebook for the kids, but then I saw this cute crayon holder at  Skip to My Lou I decided to make them. It was a little more pricer than I had thought, but the finished product is well worth it! I need to go and get more crayons though! I ran out.
