Grandma and Grandpa Schnakenburg Visit
My Aunt Diana will soon be giving birth to her second child and my grandparents went down to Arizona to be with her, but along the way they stopped in Provo to have dinner with the family in the area. It was nice to get together and see everyone. Travis and Kimball were sick so since that wouldn't be the greatest thing for Grandma I made them stay home. Brandon and Nathan were very good at the resturant which made me very happy. Nathan really liked Gracie, but was a little too overly friendly with her to begin with. I am really glad that he took a liking to a cousin even though they had never really met.
I got new coloring pad for the boys to do at the table while all of the adults talked.Brandon liked to sit next to Kayla. She was sweet and helped Brandon with the coloring pad puzzles.Kayla and Grandma SchnakenburgAmy and Grandma Schnakenburg
Easter
We had several Easter egg hunt, we had a ward Easter egg hunt that we did while it was drizziling outside and then one at Grandma and Grandpa Walkers on Easter day. At the Ward party the boys were so excited to get started and start looking for the eggs! It took Kimball a little bit to get the hang of it but then really enjoyed it. Brandon and Nathan did awesome and grabbed as much as they could. On Easter day Brandon and Nathan woke up first and got to see what the Easter Bunny left them, they were so excited! Kimball woke up later and even though he doesn't understand how it works, enjoyed the candy none the less. We tried this Easter to teach the boys what Easter is all about and how it isn't just about the candy and the easter bunny. After having a Family Home Evening on it and then throughout the week we would talk about it. We taught them just the basics, but I think they actually understood what was going one and why Easter is important! After the Easter Egg hunt Aunt Rosie helped Brandon and Nathan die easter eggs! I had already given up on the project this year because I was too busy, but thankfully Aunt Rosie wanted to color eggs with them. They had a great time!In our new home we have more yard than we have ever had, and with that yard we are creating our first garden. In the past we did gardens in buckets but this year we can actually plant in the ground. I was able to plant a second area where I could plant flowers and we also planted watermellon and pumpkin. The boys are so excited for the garden and get too overly excited. Brandon almost drowned the garden because he wanted to help water.

Wow...talk about making up for lost time!! I LOVED the pictures. I can't believe how big they are all getting! I have to say that I am in love with Kimballs little smiles! It almost looks like he scrunches his nose and it shows in his eyes...such a cutie!
YAY! You're back! Your boys look SOOOO handsome in their Easter Sunday best! They're going to all be little heartbreakers someday! I really can't believe how fast they are growing! Absolutely adorable!
And for the record - Gracie loved Nathan too! Had we had any more time together, they would have probably been "hugging" friends!
I LOVE those pictures of your boys in their Easter outfits, so super cute! I've missed you blogging, I am glad you are back on the bandwagon. My camera has been too full of memory to use so I'm glad I could swipe some photos of us off your camera so I could post! Thanks! The Easter egg hunt looks fun and so does the trip to the animal farm! You are such a busy mom!!!
