Busy Bee

I have been really busy lately trying to get my UFO projects done before the New Year as well as getting Christmas presents made. I really do like having so many options to work from.

Here is my pile of 3 quilts that are ready for me to baste, quilt and bind.
Here is a quilt that I just finished quilting and now just need to hand sew the binding and wash and it will be done.

Here is another quilt that I have cut out, and is ready for me to sew the top together. It is part of my UFO, and it is really simple and will be easy to get together.

Here is my Christmas Presents I am working on, all cut out and waiting for me to put together. ( I won't go into more details on what they are)

And here is what I am currently sewing. A pattern that I made up, but I bet it is just like everyone elses. But I am tired of this fabric and am ready to be done with it.

And to end on a nice note, a giveway! The Green Fairy from Green Fairy Quilts is having a nice giveaway! I checked out her website and she has nice prices on moda fabric! I think I am in love!
Go check it out!

Flashback Friday

Here is Brandon, Kimball and Nathan last year on Christmas Eve. They opened their presents of their new pajama's mom and dad got them and we layed out cookies for Santa. We were staying at Grandma an Grandpa Hendrix's house in Ely, Nevada last year. The boys had a very fun time. This year we are staying home. I must say that visiting family is nice but staying home is nice too.

Christmas Gifts

I have wanted to make this dress for some time now, and am kinda sad that I don't have a little daughter to dress her in. But I have 5 nieces that I can shower with homemade dresses with! I first found this over at Crazy Mom Quilts. She does excelent tutorials and makes it really easy for me to understand. I used Moda 's Boutique Charm packet to make it and I love the colors! I have decided that if I was a rich woman I would constantly buy Moda fabric.

I am not going to say who this is for just in case her mother comes on and looks at my blog. But I wanted to share my handy work!

I know I'm weird!

You know your weird when you find blogs that are in your state! I found another one that is in Ogden Utah. It is a good 3 hours north but still! It just makes me happy to see people so close to me! I might get weirder and decide that I want to create a quilting group here or something. Handnade by Alissa has done that in her area.

Anyway this newn blog Abbey Lane Quilts is having a giveaway, but also has an awesome pattern for a fast table runner! They are adorable!

I also won a few things already from Sew Mama Sew's giveaway event! I am so excited!
