This past weekend I enjoyed watching the
LDS conference on the computer! Have to LOVE technology for allowing us to stream it off the internet! It was wonderful to spend the weekend listening to our inspire leaders share their testimony and wisdom with us!
As always I like to sew during
General Conference. I had bought some charm packs a while ago and decided to use them. (I would have quilted quilts but I am having issues with my Juki yet again!) So I make a quilt using
this awesome design from the Moda Bakeshop! I have made it before and wanted one for myself!
I love how the gray looks with this line! I forget what it's called though and have already thrown away the wrapper! But I just love the colors!
For the middle sashing area, I used the scraps from making the points on the stars, I really like the effect that it brings to the quilt! Because trust me...I wanted to use ALL of the fabric!
Before I baste and quilt it, I was thinking of putting a border around it, to finish it off as well as to make it a little bigger. I don't know why I always want my quilts bigger, but I do.

It's beautiful. I think that fabric line is called Domestic Bliss. I love the colours.
