Ants

Does anyone have problems like this???
This is after I sprayed the crud out of them

We have set out the little trays, tried putting some seed/grains things on the grass. No luck with anything.

These pictures were taken just outside our back door. We have been living in our current home for 3 years now and we have had them all this time. I hate it! So any advice would be nice and greatly appreciated!

THey are really bad this year. Someone told me baking soda or powder... can't quite recall. Then, I heard many people say powder will "choke" them and get rid of them... I have also been told fabric sheets. I put the powder and sheets down. I think it was the powder that worked... This is after the "baits" that I bought that did NOT work... Try powder...

We have ants inside and we live in a government owned home due to the military!! We have a bug exterminator come out every now and then, but we are still stuck with buggies:( We ARE in the South though at least for another winter.

I've heard powder is the trick, talc, baking soda, comet. If it doesn't kill them it at least deters them.

Well I'm not sure whether this will help but in NZ we have "ant sand" made under the brand 'Raid'. You get it at the supermarket or hardware store. I sprinkle it around the edge of my house and over paths and gardens where ants are a problem. Works a treat!

Cody lights them on fire. And they normally don't come back. LOL. Cody's mom uses dawn dish soap when he's not there to burn them. Both work. Good luck!

Boric acid (Borax) mixed with grape jelly. It's sweet, so they carry it back to their nests with them and the boric acid kills them. As a benefit, boric acid isn't dangerous to pets or children.
