Robot Love on the Moda Bake Shop

Yeah another one is finished! Robot Love! The tutorial for this can be found on the Moda Bake Shop.
I am just in love with this quilt! I have had this design in my head for it since FEBRUARY! And it has taken me well over 6 months to get it finished!
I did make this one for Brandon, and he LOVES it. Although at first he told me he wanted a dinosaur quilt instead of a robot quilt, but once I told him that was fine I could find another boy who like robots, he said he wanted the robot quilt!
For the quilting I did pebble stitching around the raw edge robot on the front, so on the back you would get this awesome outline, and then for the sashing I did just a 1/4" line.
I am so happy this quilt is done and am VERY happy with it!
When I was stewing on the idea in my head, I found this Robot guy pattern at Material Girls. I had to buy him!
I decided that I would have a giveaway for this little pattern, since this is my 7th Moda Bake Shop quilt!
This pattern makes this cute little guy, Randy the Robot, which goes GREAT with this quilt! He measures little over 20" tall.

Giveaway details:
So if you want to win him, here is what you can do...

My absolute favorite is the newest one, Robot Love.
There are a hell lot of "old" patterns in the world that are re-invented over and over.
This is one new and soooo darn cute!
....and it's modern ;)

Congratulations on your new recipe at MBS!
My favourite is American Pinwheels!

Yesterday I would have said "Framed" but as the mum of a three year old the only thing that would make the robot better is if it was made with dinosaur fabric and a train around the edge.
I am sure you understand. I love this quilt and can't wait to make it. Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow - so darn cute! Before this pattern I'd have said Field of Tulips but now it's Robot Love! So if I have no little guys in my life can I make it for my big guy? He's about to turn the big 6 oh!

I'm now following your blog; what's one more to keep me on my computer right? LOL

I HAD to follow though if you're going to make anything more like that awesome Robot quilt. I think I may have gasped when I saw that because it is just ADORABLE!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I'm not sure I can commit to that one yet but I sure might give it a try soon when I can gather the fabrics needed. We had our 2nd Grandchild born last week and it was a boy so this quilt would be the perfect quilt to make for him. Now I need to find the bravery to try. And to answer your question, this one is totally my absolute favorite of all your quilts, hands down. Thank you so much for the quilt pattern and the chance to win that adorable robot pattern too.

Well, my almost six-year-old said that the Robot Love should be my favorite, and that we could put it on his bed! So very cute.

I love the All Star quilt. It is beautiful and reminds me of laying in the grass looking up. Ah summer nights

Okay, I'll be honest: I don't pay much attention to who writes the patterns for the quilts, and I was AMAZED to see that all of the quilts that I've bookmarked as "To-make someday" are yours. But I have to say this little robot one is quite cute. We love robots in this house (I was the finalist in the last Moda Bake Shop contest with the Robot Toothfairy pillow) so I know that this quilt will be on my SON'S "Mommy's needs to make for me" list. :)

Hi Chrystal! I don't usually leave commnets on blogs, but I just had to make an exception today. I love all of your Moda bake shop designs., but robot love is my favorite. I love it so much that I intend to make it in triplicate - one for each of my twin girls (they love robots) and one for their little schoolfriend, a little boy who loves robots too.

I just saw your robot love and I am in love but I tried to download the printer version and it won't let me. I went and downloaded several other and they worked fine any ideas?
