Sweet Grandma Rita!

This week my Sweet Grandma Rita left her body and is now in Heaven with our Savior. My Grandma has been surviving from ASL (Lou Gerrie disease) for the past few years and it has finally taken her life. Even with her struggles with this disease she has been upbeat and and content with her role and how the disease would affect her. She and her sister who struggled with cancer the last bit of her life had a saying. "Don't count the days, make the days count". What a testament to what type of woman my Grandmother was.

I have very fond memories of my Grandma and that is what I will think about as I mourn for her. But I am not completely sad because now I know she can walk and talk again. She is with other family members who have passed on and is happy now. I also know that it is just a short time until I will see her again. I KNOW with out a doubt that I will see her again and she will be waiting to give me a hug when I see her again. She is with my Savior as I know she lived a wonderful life to be able to live with him again.
I love you Grandma! My Sweet Grandma Rita!

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I do understand what you mean about them being happy. I have a 100 year old Grandma who is still with us, but she left a long time ago...if you know what I mean.
