Baby Quilt

Well some may be wondering why I went to Colorado at the end of last month, well it's because of this little guy...
My sister, Jenni had Zayne at the end of March. He was quite a surprise, everyone had told Jenni that she was having a little girl, so she prepared for a girl. So when Zayne came out, it was a shock, but we are all very happy that he came.
So Jenni didn't have many boy things, so I said that I would make her a baby blanket for him.
I ended up making him an i spy quilt. I tried to make it all green or blue but didn't have enough.
On the back I did a combo of green and yellow with an orange square in the middle.
You can't see too well, but on the yellow I did the quilting in little swirls in yellow and then on the back, it was the dark blue. At first I didn't like it, but now I love it.

I loved taking pictures of this quilt at my Mom's house, she has some nice hard wood floors and so many cool things to put my quilts on!! Then my sister has an AWESOME camera that I would love to have, but I think the best of all was.....
Being able to take pictures of the quilt with this little guy!
I hope that as he gets older he will carry it around with him.
I can say that he wasn't too happy when I put him down on the quilt on his tummy...
But oh well, I do love this little guy! I also was quite attached to him...he made me VERY baby hungry!
 He is such a cutie!!!
So you can better get idea of how big this quilt is, here Zayne is on top of his quilt.

Just another cute thing you can make with your i spy squares!!
