Round Robin Blocks

I have recenlty joined a Round Robin. It is the first one that I have ever done, and I am extremely excited to be a part of it. Here is the the blog. Check it out!

Tonight I was able to make my blocks to send on. Over at Oh Frasson! she posted some blocks that she had made, and I really liked them so I created my own based on it. The problem is, I don't like them too much, but Travis really likes them. So since he likes my quilts and has to look at them too, I will leave them be and hope that my fellow quilters can make beautiful blocks!

I am just not sure, looking at them and then my inspiration blocks...I just have no idea...what do you all think? Think I should come up with something else or add a border??

I think you did a great job, but I also think that if you are not happy with them now, then you probably wont be happy with them later :)

When that happens to me, I leave the block (or whatever) out where I can see it frequently. This way I can see if it grows on me...sometimes I end up really liking it sometimes I don't.

I agree with Rene (above). I think it would be great if you actually followed Oh Fransson's tutorial. Then all the rest of us can follow suit, and you'll get pretty uniform blocks. I am going to use the blocks from Modify Tradition or one other tutorial. That way, each lady can choose how she wants to make my block based on an actual pattern. -- michele
