I will be giving away something special.....it is a small doll quilt out of Moda Grace by 3 Sisters.
Okay here is the beginning of it! In the line there is some pre-made patchwork designs in it, I had no idea what to do with it, then thought of a giveaway! So every day this week I will post progress on this quilt and show you more in detail how it will look. It will roughly be around 24"x24" when done.

Something interesting: stinging nettles are edible. You just steam them a little first to soften them so the spikes down itch-i-fy (that's totally a word!) your mouth.

Beautiful quilt. I'm a volunteer at my children school. I bring art to the children so they can "create" smiles. All is at my cost and any generous donations from friends, giveaways etc. I would love win to give back.

Wonderful start! I'm sure it will look fab when you finish. I have many little girls that would love to have a quilt for their dolls!
hmmmm something interesting? So peonies have sap around the bloom before it opens. The sap attracts ants and other insects that enjoy its yumminess. If you get rid of the insects, the bloom won't open. They are mutually benificial to each other. Interesting? or just random? haha. It was the first thought that came to me... how weird is that?
What a great give away. I'd be honored to win such a lovely doll quilt!

Cute! Thanks for the opportunity. Completely random fact "Birds cannot go into outer space, because they use gravity to assist them in swallowing, so they'd quickly choke and die in a non-gravity environment." So don't be sending your birds into space!

When I first met my husband, I was supposed to be meeting someone named Frank. My husband's name is Harold. I had heard about this guy "Frank" for about a month because my co-worker was setting us up for a date. "Frank" was a no-show and Harold and I immediately were attracted to each other. The only problem is, I couldn't remember his name is "Harold" and for almost 5 weeks, I called him "Frank".
Loving your giveaway and can't wait to see what it looks like when you finish it.

Thanks for the chance to win. When our youngest was three and learning her colors, she was very fascinated with green. See, Greene is our last name. One day, while the older children were at swim practice she looked at all the swimmers, pointed and asked,"Mommmy, whats their color?" Too Cute!

Hmmm, something interesting... I just found out you can freeze mushrooms raw. Stock up and freeze them when they're on sale!
My daughters would love that doll blanket! The most interesting thing that happened here in our little corner of the world lately was when our creek flooded recently and we saw our neighbors little calf being swept away. We thought it was a goner for sure, but it was rescued by someone else and we are all happy that it's mother doesn't have to mourn for it.
Can't wait to see it finished ~ lovely!

I have 2 boys (ages 2 1/2 and 1)...Dr. says I am more likely to have another boy than a girl...Maybe it's just me but I would think it would make more sense since you already had 2 boys, you would be more likely ot have a girl....That's what I get for thinking! Science and statistics weren't my strongsuits...obviously! Enjoy your 3 boys!!!!
