Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day!

Yeah once again it is that time of year where Sew Mama Sew hosts an amazing giveaway day! Thank you Sew Mama Sew for doing this for us!

I will be giving away something special.....it is a small doll quilt out of Moda Grace by 3 Sisters. I do not have a picture yet but will get it up asap! (Had a rough weekend!)
Okay here is the beginning of it! In the line there is some pre-made patchwork designs in it, I had no idea what to do with it, then thought of a giveaway! So every day this week I will post progress on this quilt and show you more in detail how it will look. It will roughly be around 24"x24" when done.

To enter:
1. Leave a comment telling me anything interesting
2. Leave a second comment telling you have become a follower or already are and receive another entry.

Then now go back to Sew Mama Sew and check out the amazing different giveaways!

Something interesting: stinging nettles are edible. You just steam them a little first to soften them so the spikes down itch-i-fy (that's totally a word!) your mouth.

hmmmm something interesting? So peonies have sap around the bloom before it opens. The sap attracts ants and other insects that enjoy its yumminess. If you get rid of the insects, the bloom won't open. They are mutually benificial to each other. Interesting? or just random? haha. It was the first thought that came to me... how weird is that?
What a great give away. I'd be honored to win such a lovely doll quilt!

Cute! Thanks for the opportunity. Completely random fact "Birds cannot go into outer space, because they use gravity to assist them in swallowing, so they'd quickly choke and die in a non-gravity environment." So don't be sending your birds into space!

When I first met my husband, I was supposed to be meeting someone named Frank. My husband's name is Harold. I had heard about this guy "Frank" for about a month because my co-worker was setting us up for a date. "Frank" was a no-show and Harold and I immediately were attracted to each other. The only problem is, I couldn't remember his name is "Harold" and for almost 5 weeks, I called him "Frank".

Loving your giveaway and can't wait to see what it looks like when you finish it.

My daughters would love that doll blanket! The most interesting thing that happened here in our little corner of the world lately was when our creek flooded recently and we saw our neighbors little calf being swept away. We thought it was a goner for sure, but it was rescued by someone else and we are all happy that it's mother doesn't have to mourn for it.

Science and statistics weren't my strongsuits...obviously! Enjoy your 3 boys!!!!
