Friday Night Sew In Results

I didn't get as much done as I wanted, the quilt tops actually took a lot more time than I thought. I have one top done but still have 3 more to do. Then the backs. So I will be working on those today and tomorrow as well. Teacher apprecation week starts Monday.
Now I need some help. Nathan has a male aid that comes in about 2 hours a day. I wanted to include him, but since he is a male and a bachelor I am not sure he would like a quilt top. I would like to make him something, but have no idea what to make.  Any ideas?

A 'manly' quilt with darker colours could be very nice or if you want to give something smaller a messenger bag or maybe laptop case?

I NEVER get as much done as I want. Your quilt is going to be sweet.

As for manly gifts, how about one of those rice or corn-filled bags that you can heat up in the microwave and use to sooth a stiff neck/shoulder?

What an adorable little mini this is going to be. Is it a pattern or your own creation? Would love to make these for my boy's teachers.

Crystal, He would like a quilt like the rest of them. You'd be surprised how much they love them too. Maybe you could just make his a little more plain for a male. Give him one too. I certainly would. I always have, no matter what age. You'd be surprised how much they really do love things like that. Good memories for him also. Don't leave him out on such a precous gift like you are giving the others (if you have the time, of course). If you can, give him the same thing as the others, of course, my dear. Your work is beautiful, Crystal. Happy Quilting.
